Custom Error Pages in Cloud Hosting
The custom made error pages function is available with every cloud hosting plan that we offer and you will be able to replace the generic pages with your own with no more than just a few clicks in your Hepsia website hosting CP. You'll have to develop the actual files and to upload them to your account, and then to set them for a specific domain or subdomain using the Hosted Domains section of the Hepsia CP. You may do this for every site hosted in the account individually, so that every set of customized pages will have the exact same layout as the site it's part of. If needed, you could always return back to a default page from our system or to a default Apache server page. One other way to set custom made error pages is to create an .htaccess file inside the domain/subdomain root folder and to include a few lines in it. If you have not done this before, you can simply copy the necessary program code from our Help article on this subject.
Custom Error Pages in Semi-dedicated Servers
Adding your own pages for any of the four error types to any site hosted inside a semi-dedicated server account with us will be really easy and shall not take more than several clicks. As soon as you upload the files inside your account, you could navigate to the Hosted Domains section of your Hepsia CP and edit each of the domains and subdomains listed there through an intuitive interface with drop-down navigation. You can choose what page should appear for each error type. The alternatives are a standard Apache web server page or a page from our system, and customized pages. In case you select the abovementioned option, you will need to type the link to each and every page in your account, then save the change. The link or the kind of page which will be displayed in case a user encounters an error can be modified anytime. If you are more experienced, you may use an .htaccess file to be able to set tailor-made error pages as well, instead of using our integrated generator instrument, and if you choose this option, the file should be located in the root directory of a specific domain or subdomain.
